Using Acrobat or other 'offline' form for DA form submittal

Has anyone tried using Adobe Acrobat or another offline form tool to submit Dynamic App data to Daptiv?  I have a need for users to submit a lot of form data, data that they might not be able to compile in one sitting and data they may wish to submit more than once.  Using Acrobat I can create a form that allows them to save their work and continue, or reuse, later, but I cannot get it to submit to Daptiv correctly.  As an Acrobat newbie I may just be doing it wrong, has anyone had this work, or have tried a different tool to accomplish this?

Why use Acrobat when you can import data into a DA.  Why not just create a spreadsheet, save it as a CSV, and import the data.  It will append to the end of the list.
