This works for any new user that has not logged in where you can push their first 'experience' of tab layout. After they have logged in you have a little less control over the actual layout and order (although you can completely remove application permissions change their roles and change it back to 'reset' the situation).

Create a new role and go through the wizard, it walks you thorugh which tabs to show (the first screen of checkbox items), and then the order and 'see all' option on the 2nd page.

Often when rolling out only a portion of the big picture customers will create a roll with say, 10 tabs total, only 6 of which are used now, with the other 4 being rolled in later. Instead of shutting them off completely, they will make it so the 6 are out in the open, the 4 are hidden, and the "See All" tab is hidden. Thus unless a user actively edit's their tab layout, they're not likely to find the 4 hidden tabs.

yep - that was it. Thanks Steve. When I added more or "Selected All" then I had content in the Hidden window to actually "hide" and use for the See All Tab.

Are all of the tabs that are enabled out in the open? You will not have a see all tab unless there is at least one hidden tab.

Thanks for the steps. That helps in confirming I was in the right area in checking for it. We have created 2 new Executive level roles (in addition to the one that is default in the system?) The reason I think that is the first role listed for Executive shows 8 users, but does NOT have the "actions" option to click on the drop down and "edit role". The other two Executive roles show 6 and 2 users respectively. When I went through the steps for both of the Executive roles that we created, the "Hide See All" tab was NOT checked, so I'm still not sure what is going on. Thanks.

Suggestions?

Here are the steps to the "See All" setting in Admin Zone.

Admin
User Settings
Executive
Choose the appropriate role (there may be more than one)
Actions>Edit Role
Next Step
->-> Ensure "Hide "See All" Tab" is not checked here. <-<-
If it is checked, uncheck and follow wizard through to the end and save.
If it is not checked, and you are sure you have the right Executive role, post here again.

When I am logged in as myself (admin level), I can see the "See All" tab. When I log in as an Executive level role user, I cannot. I have tried going to Admin, User Settings, Roles and Permissions and looking at the settings for Executive, but do not see anywhere I can change that. When I am logged in as the actual (Executive) user, I clicked on their username, Customize Tabs and confirmed the "Hide "See All" tab" was NOT checked.

Everything I see in the Help section talks about how if you can't see the See All tab, then it must be hidden. I verified that box is NOT checked when logged in as that user, but I still cannot make that show up on the Tab row. This is happening with multiple users at the Executive level, so I'm assuming there is some administrative that I am overlooking to change it globally.
