    Import an existing calendar

We are new to Daptiv and have information stored in a separate program (MS Sharepoint).  Is there a way to "import" our existing calender into Daptiv?

    Thanks as Always!

    Bianca,

Please explain what you mean by importing the calendar.  If you are talking about importing a project schedule or multiple schedules, then yes.  Bring the schedule into MS Project (if you don't have MS Project, send the files to me in any format jfilicetti@daptiv.com and I will convert them to MPP and MPD files).  Once converted, they can be easily imported to Daptiv.

John, we are looking at saving or importing data that was keyed into a an MS Sharepoint Calendar and placed in a specific project calendar for the team members to see.

     Thanks,

Ok.  That can easily be exported to CSV which can be easily imported to MS Project.  I can help if you need some assistance.

    Mr. Filicetti,

I would like to thank you in advance for your help on this matter.  Please allow me to attempt this first before I request your assistance.  :-)  Once we've exported our calendar out of Sharepoint (into a .csv file), uploaded it into MS Project, how would we then instruct the Daptiv software to place our information on the calendar located in Daptiv?

Here is the exact issue -

We have been managing a project in MS Sharepoint for some time.  Now that we are to begin using Daptiv, I want to take all of our existing information on our Calendar (because it's a lot) and some how upload it to the calendar in Daptiv.

    Thanks as Always!
