    Archiving Projects

Logged in as administrator I go to the Admin screen and select 'Project list' then change the view to 'Archived Projects'. As a result I see 1 project listed.

Next I logon as a Project Manager, go to the Projects Tab, change fomat from List view to 'Archive View'. As a result I see 5 projects listed.

When I attempt to restore one of the 5 projects from the archive I get a "Insufficient Permission" error.

I have admin setup as a member of all projects. Shouldn't the Archive view logged in as Admin show the same number of archived projects as when logged in as a project manager? Also how can I troubleshoot the insufficient Permissions' error? Do you have any guidance in properly setting up permissions?

     Thanks

The Admin zone should show all projects, archived or not, in the system regardless of Admin access and priveldges (assuming default permissions).

The User zone should allow you the ability to reactivate a project provided you have authority to do so (you have to be a member, and the member role has to have the authority - usually defaulted to Project Manager).

Please log this as a bug.  I recall some discussion around this internally - I will ask our team and post up if there is any useful info to communicate back to the forum.

Does anyone know if this bug has been worked on?  This still appears to be an issue for us and I'm not sure if it is system wide.  It makes no sense that  project managers can see more archived projects than the administrator.  It lead to some ugle accusations of cancelling.  Ugh.
